The fairly new and sprawling village founded by Cartopwings8470, featuring a variety of buildings and members who have come together purely for fun times.
Our walls are ever expanding to fit new members, so just ask if you want to join and build with us - there's no one unique theme or style and everyone is welcome to hang out!
Shaftville connects to the Mooshroom and Yellow railway lines.
Prominent Builds
The Town Halls' inside is still under construction but the outside is already a prominent part of the landscape, some of the completed rooms include a trophy or item exhibit and an aquarium.
The grand hall is a colossal structure that reminds of a fortress. Built with spruce and stone, the inside can feel like a liminal place. There is a massive carrot farm, a room that is split into 4 parts by fences, but fencing off nothing, and a massive hall, part of which is lined by chests and armour stands. When you take the stairs to the top, it feels like you have entered a sort of boss-fight arena, just with the boss missing, here you really get a sense of the scale of the build.
On the lake sits a square birch house, partly lined with burning netherrack, as if a testament to the firespread being off, if that were to ever be reversed this build would certainly be in trouble.
The purple tower or "FROSrt" tower seems like the kind of place where magic is brewing. Its about 76 blocks high and is filled with bookshelves and knowledge.
The prismarine tower isn't as high but still very cool, it holds valuable artifacts and many secrets and even some very real advice. From its balcony you have a great view of the rest of the town.
Elytra tower, warns you not to go up without an elytra. The one-way elevator takes you high above the clouds and allows you a birds-eye view of the entire town, with the cardinal directions marked by signs. From atop the tower even the grand hall seems small.
While there are many seemingly incomplete or nonsensical builds, you would be surprised how many secrets there are waiting to be discovered. Shaftville is definitely a must-visit.
