Hiya, you must be here because you wish to make a farm using craftbook, but dont know how. Or you are simply interested in how one could use CraftBook to make a farm, well take a drink, grab a snack, and lets get into it

types of farm

You can Use CraftBook for alot of farms, but on this server some Craftbook functions have been disabled so we cannot make Craftbook Kill mobs for example

we can use Craftbook for the following farms which ill also explain how to make:

  • generated blocks
  • Trees
  • Crops

generated blocks

By this, i mean blocks that are generated by 2 blocks meeting, or due to other minecraft mechanics (e.g. stone, obsidian)

To farm these blocks, its quite simple make a generator, and underneath the Block you place a sign, lets use a basalt generator as example

you make the farm (lava and packed ice) and underneath the Basalt, you place a sign, signs have 4 layers you can write on and we leave the first line empty

then you go to the 2nd line and you type [MC1221]S and thats it. now you have a block breaking machine, (the S is so it triggers itself, you can leave it be but do need a redstone pule to trigger it)

[MC1221] has a cousin called [MC1220] and [MC1220] breaks blocks Below it [MC1221] breaks blocks above

now we break the blocks, but we must also collect them,

to do this you must place a chest, and place a sign on the side of the block the chest is on, this is the reason i encourage placing your chests on blocks and not on the floor because otherwise you must dig a few holes in your floor. now you should have your sign not on the chest, but on the block below the chest and once again leave the first line empty

on the 2nd line you write [MC1214]S, this is a collector and it collects items in its radius

on the 3rd line you can specify what to pick up by entering the item id. on a wood farm you might want the sappling so you must do oak_sappling, or use its Craftbook ID which i have never been able to find or a basalt farm you write basalt it does work without specifications, but might pickup junk too

on the 4th line you must write its radius, it goes from 1 to 10, you can write dimensions 5,8,2 would be 5 long 8 heigh and 2 width, but just 7 would give a spherical radius of 7.

(i could have swapped the 3rd and 4th line but ehhhh it will say whats wrong in chat)

voila your own generation farm (this works with but not limited to, stone basalt obsidian concrete)

tree farm

tired of chopping down trees? wish it could be done while ur snoozing irl? well for only €30 and our servers IP you can now farm trees while snoozing

to start you will once again place a chest, and on the block below the chest place a sign, now this farm uses 3 different signs, 1 we already talked about and that is [MC1214] aka ranged collection.

the 2nd sign, is [MC1239], this is the axe that chops down trees, the more, the faster it works, but its quite fast already so just 4 should be plenty (especialy if you are snoozing). you must add [MC1239] on the same blocks as [MC1214] and it chops away, you can also add its radius on the 3th line

lastly, cant chop without a tree, so lets plant the sapplings now, this requires [MC1234] this plants tree sapplings, if it is in the chest, so i suggest for a tree farm to only pickup the logs in 1 chest and sapplings in another chest, so you dont get stick spam.

once again leave 1st line empty, then on 2nd line [MC1234], 3th line radius and 4th line (optional i think) item id, (pale_oak_sappling doesnt fit so doesnt work)

and we got wood :D

Crops

for crop farming, we use [MC1239] for harvesting crops, and [MC1234] for planting, so these are the only ones you need on a farm tbh,

but you can use [MC1235] to cultivate farmland (dirt/grass --> farmland) and [MC1238] to water the farmland, altho just adding a water source block works best.

now these are 3 rudimentary farms, but they work and could be usefull enjoy them, dont forget to check out my page about usefull Craftbook features, and their extra info
