General Events

The Beginning
At April 12nd 2024 18:32 UTC, 
Ardakaz creates the server on Minecraft 1.20.4. A small group of friends starts to play on it.
The server got created because Ard couldn't find any perfect server to play on. Most SMP servers were just same: land claims, too big world, annual resets, a lot of gameplay-changing plugins etc. He also played a bit on MinecraftOnline, it was different but not perfect. Ard got some good ideas from there like the lack of claims, smaller world and Craftbook. ArdakazMC is still not a MinecraftOnline clone: we have a modern version, less strict moderation, no PvP and more space to build.
2024
- May 4th - The server opens to public.
- June 2nd - The first ender dragon gets killed by Ardakaz and
TheTomKiller.
Freedom of the End - June 18th - The 100th player
fernluvr_ joins.
- July 2nd - The server updates to Minecraft 1.21.
- September 4th - Host changed from Shockbyte to Pebblehost.
- September 22nd - The server hits 10 players at the same time.
2025
- February 1st - The server migrates to a new self-hosted machine.
- February 8th - The server updates to Minecraft 1.21.4.
- April 14th - The donation system is released.
- April 16th - A big hardware upgrade.
- April 25th - The 1000th player
Yuuniee joins.
- May 4th - The server hits 20 players at the same time.
- June 11th - The server updates to Minecraft 1.21.5. The world border expands for the first time.
- July 18th - The server updates to Minecraft 1.21.7.
- July 25th - The forum gets released.
- October 8th - The 100th wiki page, Lake Neverwhere, is created.
- November 23rd - The server updates to Minecraft 1.21.10.
