Hi everyone! 10 days ago I made a little survey so we can see easily what people like on the server and what needs improving. The survey has got 36 responses and I'm going to publish the results now.
The state of community and staff

Most of people find the server very friendly, safe and fair. That's good!

Staff also does it's job well but not perfectly. Is there something that needs to be changed? The most liked staff member is PolarTheWise!
Server features

Most people think that the amount of non-vanilla features is perfect. Some little stuff may be added in the future but nothing big.

Our most liked features seem to be the map, the lack of world resets and player-creatable shops and warps. Almost all things are chosen by over half of people so they're not going anywhere.
The border is quite small for these reasons:
It's good to have a bit crowded world so people can get together more easily and exploring the builds is easier.
New Minecraft features that are part of the world generation can be used more easily.
A big world needs more disk space and space costs money.
However, because the players want it, the border will be expanded more than the last time when it's time for an expansion.

Most people think that the amount of PVP is perfect. But because some people want more of it, the could be a command to toggle it on/off. PVP would be off by default and only players who have it on can fight with each other.
Suggestions we got
Enabling keep-inventory or having a gravestone plugin
Probably not happening because I want to keep the server quite close to the normal vanilla gameplay and difficulty. We already have people who complain about it being too easy.
Regenerating netherite or having a recipe for it
There's still a lot of ancient debris left in the nether. But something about this could be done in the future.
Readding an ability to make an automatic cobblestone farm
That would make the amount cobblestone available practically infinite due to the speed of the farms. We don't want that, do we?
More events
Maybe, you can give ideas. It's also possible for anyone to start an event.
An ability to edit armor stand poses and craft invisible item frames
I'm probably doing this later.
/shop for buying things with diamonds
In my opinion, all items should be collected from the world by players instead of creating them from thin air. The economy works way better that way.
Having greater caves
I'm not going to do any changes to world generation. This is a semi-vanilla server.
An info area near spawn with information about people & builds
We already have the wiki just for that!
Creating new blocks and other stuff like that
That's not practically possible with server-side mods only. I would also like to keep this server semi-vanilla.
Fixing the low TPS with high player counts
We'll look into that when required. The next step is probably better hardware or overclocking.
Turning ArdakazMC into an anarchy server
Not going to happen.
The most liked thing on the server is our friendly and helpful community. Let's keep it that way.
