Apart from the unfinished Copper Line there way more Ghost Stations. Many of the known stations are stations that either Red or Blue lines do not stop at and that you can see on your journey between stops. Other than these there are believed to be an ''unknown number'' of stations in different states of disrepair just waiting to be discovered. For example the eastern and western routes at the southmost stations, where do they go? | Apart from the unfinished Copper Line there way more Ghost Stations. == | == Expanding the Railway Network ==
As stated in the beginning, players are always welcome to expand upon the existing rail infrastructure. In the spawn library under the education section there is a guide on how to build railways effectively. There are rumoured to be plans to finish the Copper Line and fully integrate it into the Railway System. In addition to that there are, as of now, many Lines and stations that are functional but not on the dynamap or the railway map in this Wiki. | As stated in the beginning, players are always welcome to expand upon the existing rail infrastructure. ====== Who do I ask if I want to build something? ======
If you are just building track, not directly connected to the network, you don't have to ask anyone for permission ( unless you are going through someone’s build or something). If you want to continue building from a station with a dead-end where the track is intended to continue, it is a good idea to ask the person who build the station or that part of the track in particular and see if they have any plans for it. You can ask a moderator if you're having trouble figuring out who built what.
====== How do I add my line to the Dynmap? ======
The Railway Network and Project Galcies have the Route Data that the Dynmap uses in their source code here on the Wiki. You can edit it by pressing edit source code and scrolling down to the Route Data section. Here you can add to or copy the format used for the existing lines to add your line or addition. But you have to be very careful when editing, the Route Data can be quite finicky and it can take a few attempts to get everything correct. It is also easy to accidentally mess up the data for other lines, so be very careful!! If you don't want to or can't add it yourself you can message [[Starstriker1012|Starstriker]] on the discord or /mail Starstriker1012 ingame, though it can't be guaranteed that it will then be added anywhere near instantly. It is also good to know, that if you're building track above ground, it is very hard to accurately add lines with a lot of (also small) turns and bends so that it looks good in the dynmap when zoomed in.
