At April 12nd 2024 18:32 UTC, {{Player|Ardakaz}} creates the server on Minecraft 1.20.4. A small group of friends starts to play on it.

* April 13th - {{Player|Ardakaz}} creates the server on ~~Minecraft 1~~.~~20.4 and makes himself an admin. The private testing begins with Karhunhammas and LeGrey.~~

The server got created because Ard couldn't find any perfect server to play on. Most SMP servers were just same: land claims, too big world, annual resets, a lot of gameplay-changing plugins etc. He also played a bit on [https://minecraftonline.com MinecraftOnline], it was different but not perfect. Ard got some good ideas from there like the lack of claims, smaller world and [[Craftbook]]. ArdakazMC is still not a MinecraftOnline clone: we have a modern version, less strict moderation, no PvP and more space to build.
