Modifying other people's builds without a permission is called '''griefing''' and it's strictly prohibited here. This includes following actions:

Harming other people's builds is strictly forbidden. That means:
* Taking items from or putting items into containers (chests, barrels, furnaces, armor stands etc.).
# Do not destroy or modify someone else's build without their permission.
* Killing mobs or other entities.
# Do not take items from someone else's container without their permission.
Terraformed areas are considered as builds. It's also possible to claim a small area using a sign. That kind of claims are no longer valid if the players becomes inactive.
# Do not kill players. PVP is off except in some designated areas. Traps are allowed but trapped areas must be clearly marked to warn players.
# Do not kill pastured mobs or animals inside a build.
# Harming the server is also forbidden so don't build lag machines or chunk loaders.

Mods are able to see the alerts even off-game and WILL know what has happened. In case of accidents, apologies are accepted and mods will assume good faith. Not responding to moderators or leaving the server without resolving grief or stealing will result in banning. Repeated rule breaking even after promises to follow the rules will also result in banning.

Unlike most servers, we don't have land claims or similar protection against griefing. To keep the vanilla gameplay, we have a different approach:
 
* Every action is logged so moderators can check who griefed. They also get alerts about likely rule violations.
* Due to this, grief is also very quick to repair and harmful people get banned before they do any serious damage.
