This privacy policy describes how ArdakazMC may collect, store, use, and/or process your personal information when youOur basic policy is not to collect any personally identifiable information that is not necessary for the smooth running of the gaming community. We do not use tracking on our websites and do not share any of your information to third parties outside the server staff. We are however not responsible for how third-party applications such as Minecraft or Discord process your data.

Please note that ArdakazMC is a privately hosted hobby Minecraft server, and is not a liable business entity. The server is run by volunteers and the owner may only earn money in the form of voluntary donations in exchange for ingame ranks with purely cosmetic perks.
By playing on the server and participating in the community, you agree to us collecting and processing your data as described below.
For you to play Minecraft on ArdakazMC, we need to process your player data as provided by Microsoft, including your player name, Minecraft profile and the authentication of your account.
We also collect log and usage data of you playing on the server. This data includes your IP address, timestamps of your logins/logouts, your previous usernames on the server and your actions on the server. Log data is used for statistic, diagnostic and moderating purposes. All the logs are connected to your Minecraft account, but not to your actual identity. Only admins on the server have access to your IP information and we don’t share any of the logs outside staff.
We do not collect any sensitive information about players, such as information regarding health, political or religious views etc. Any such information present in our logs is if you freely provide it in the ingame chat.
We advise players not to share any personally identifiable or sensitive information in the public ingame chat.
The public ingame chat log is bridged to Discord to facilitate communication within the community even if players are not ingame. Please refer to Discord’s Privacy Policy for further information on how Discord processes data.
All browsers automatically provide certain information when you visit any website. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location and other technical information.
We do not track any of this information across any other sites and do not use it for profiling.
In addition to the automatic data provided by your browser, having an account in our wiki requires us to link the Wiki account to your ingame account. The only cookies we use are related to Wiki logins.
By choosing to participate in the ArdakazMC community through Discord, you accept their use of your personal data as specified in the Discord privacy policy. The ingame chat will be visible on the Discord server, and ArdakazMC is not liable for how Discord uses your data.
All public discord messages are also mirrored to the ArdakazMC Matrix space, which is privately hosted on the same servers as the game server.

To facilitate donations to the server, the payment data is processed through Ko-Fi and Paypal. We require you to provide your player name to be able to link the ingame perks to your account. Paypal will share your full name and any other personal information which you have in your public profile (see your Paypal profile settings), which will be visible in the Paypal purchase information. We never share this information with anyone else nor save it on our servers.

We only process your personal information when it’s necessary for providing the services of the game server and the community, under applicable law and with your consent.
As defined in The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU, the legal bases we rely on in order to process your personal information include:

However, if you share personal information while playing on the server or participating in the Discord/Matrix community, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly made available outside our community by other users. If you interact with other users for example using Discord, other users will see your username, profile picture, and descriptions of your activity.
All our servers and data are located in Finland, Europe. We are not a business entity, but we will respect your data as if we were (in fact probably even better), and according to the EU GDPR regulations.
We do not have control over the data stored and used by other services not affiliated with us but required for playing on our server and participating in the community such as Microsoft and Discord.
We only store your personal information for as long as it’s necessary for the functionality of the server. Chat messages or game logs are not stored on our servers for longer than a year, except for logs required to track the ownership of blocks in the game for moderating purposes. All information regarding moderating decisions, warnings and bans are also stored for as long as the server is active.
